Image + Art Direction

Lia Séval is an art director based in Paris. Her multidisciplinary practice unfolds at the intersection of fashion, music, and visual storytelling, combining graphic design, photography, styling, writing, and object design. She collaborates with brands and musicians to craft sensitive, narrative identities, while also teaching at Istituto Marangoni and Université Paris 8.

French-Venezuelan, her dual heritage subtly shapes a narrative practice where geographies intersect and temporalities engage in dialogue.

Alongside her creative work, she develops a personal jewelry project using found and reclaimed materials, exploring the memory of objects, their transformative potential, and evocative power. She believes the value of an image, like that of an object, lies in the imagination it can awaken.
